Shall we gather at the river . . . The river
serves as a metaphor for the continual outpouring of God’s sustaining
and refreshing blessings. Because this is God’s heart, it has been
in our hearts for some time to prepare this place for you. Our desire
is that this will be a place of refreshing, encouragement, and strengthening.
We pray you will
find it so and more.
Come, all are welcome! Spread out along these riverbanks. Babes can splash along the shoreline. The young can wade a little deeper. The more mature will find water to swim in. Explore, discover, learn, be challenged, find rest, have fun, invite others. Come often and stay as long as you can. When you go, take with you Living Water to sustain you on your journey. Above all, our fervent prayer and expectant hope is that you will grow in relationship with others and intimacy with your Beloved, the Lord Jesus Christ whose most fervent prayer is that we be ONE (John 17).
