Our hope is that you will use the varied expressions of Heart to Heart as touch-points by which to engage God in your own personal heart-to-Heart encounter with Him. May it be a place where you can arrest the attention of the Lord with the glance of your eye and He can capture your heart with His whispers of love.

Dear Ones, with a heart of thanksgiving toward the Lord, I share this encouragement with you taken from a letter to a friend. God cares for you deeply and personally.
He really cares about the issues of your life. Be confident in this: there is room
for you in His loving arms.

God is so very good to us...to take to heart the very issues of life that perplex and confound us...sweeping them away with a Word and making all things new again.
How I love Him! How I trust Him! Through every storm and shifting circumstance,
His prevailing wind brings me back on course. Truly His mercies are new every day. What a great and mighty God, awesome in power, mighty in deed, yet infinitely tender and loving toward those who are engraved with His name, sealed by His Spirit.
He takes us up in His arms, calming our fears and by His whispered endearments stills the frenzy of our lives with the steadfastness of His unfailing love. Oh, how I love Him! There is no other like Him. He is totally other than! He is indeed so very good and gracious toward His little ones.

Lord, I am powerless to keep Your commands of love through my own will. I can’t try hard enough to make it happen. For this I am grateful. I recognize that I am totally dependent upon Your grace and power to do in me what is impossible to do without You. So, Lord, I surrender to the adjustments You need to make in me so the reality of Your love shines brightly through the cracks in this human vessel . . ..

I felt the breath of God today
as I bowed before His throne.
I cried, “Oh, Father, move this mountain
that has become so steep!
Hear the heart’s cry of your Beloved.”
I felt His breath, I felt His peace.

I felt the touch of God today
as He reached out and said, “Arise.”
With the tenderness of my Father,
He looked into my face.
“My Beloved,” He said, “you will find
your sufficiency in My grace.”

There are times when I must walk out my faith
in circumstances that vex my soul,
to fulfill God’s purpose in my life
and achieve His higher goal.
But He will not forsake me,
in this I’m confident.
He is my Father, and I am His Beloved.
He is my Father…and I am His…Beloved.

Today, we cross the threshold of time into 2006. This will be a year of growth and expansion. The seeds we have sown will prosper in this season ahead. They will blossom and bloom big for the glory of the Lord because the favor of God is the “Miracle Grow” upon them.

Lord Jesus, help me see Your strategy, Your vision for my life and the life-work you purposed for me before I was born. I have sown many seeds over many seasons. This is the season in which I will reap, reap, reap for you have declared it by Your prophetic voice and it shall be even as it was told me.

Jesus, I ask for Your grace and much grace in this area of time. Help me to order my life to the rhythm of Your heart and heaven’s time table. I pray that all things concerning my times will align with You.

You, Lord, have delivered me from all my fears and brought me through every test. Seasons come and seasons go, but you are the unchangeable Faithful One who never slumbers or sleeps. Through everything, I have endured. You brought me through and you brought me out into a place of enlargement, a place of abundance, a place of refreshing. You have made me glad and I will ever sing your praise!

Lord, You have freely given us Your grace and favor that we can become the mature sons of God. In You dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily. In Your body lives the full measure of Him who makes everything complete, and who fills everything, everywhere with Himself (Jesus). You have created in Yourself one new man – one new quality of humanity that we may together become a holy temple in the Lord, that we may form a fixed abode wherein the Godhead dwells. The mighty working of Your power shall complete this work.
