A Gift

The Apostle Paul understood how absolutely delighted God is with those who live lavishly toward His servants. Our generous giving to God’s messengers creates a sweet fragrance which God welcomes and in which He delights. As blessed as Paul was at receiving the Philippian Christian’s gifts, he was even more thrilled knowing how their giving would activate God’s principles of abundance, in their lives. Confidently, Paul expressed how God would liberally and lavishly pour out a return blessing upon them above and beyond their investment into his ministry.
