AUDIT & DEGREE-EARNING PROGRAMS

 

MINISTRY LIFE EXPERIENCE CREDIT

AUDIT PROGRAM

 

The Audit Program is available for individuals attending strictly for their own personal spiritual growth.  Audit students must attend all classes and read all textbooks. (Audit students are not required to take exams or write papers.) They are invited to participate in the graduation exercise for degree students and will receive a Certificate of Attendance for each 30-credit hour program completed.

 

Audit students may convert their Audit student credit to academic credit by completing the additional work requirements (tests, quizzes, papers, etc.) and paying the additional tuition for the degree program.  Upon completion of the additional requirements, a degree certificate and transript commensuarte tot he students academic standing will be awarded.

 

 

DEGREE-EARNING PROGRAMS

 

Undergraduate Degrees & Diplomas

 

Diploma in Theology - is awarded to a student who successfullly completes the first-year program for academic credit (30 credit-hours total).

 

Associate Degree in Theology - is awarded to a student who successfully completes the second-year program for academic credit (90 credit-hours) total.

 

Advanced Diploma in Theology - is awarded to a student who successfully completes the third-year for academic credit (90 credit-hours total).

 

Bachelor's Degree in Theology

Bachelor's Degree in Pastoral Ministry

Bachelor's Degree in Christian Education -  is awarded to a student who successfully completes the fourth-year program for academic credit (120 credit -hours total).

 

GRADUATE (Master's) & POSTGRADUATE (Doctoral) STUDIES

MINISTRY LIFE EXPERIENCE CREDIT

 

Ministry Life Experience (MLE) credit recognizes academic study for the preaching and teaching of the Word of God in formal classes or services sanctioned by the church.  To see if you qualify for MLE credit, download the MLE Application (below the middle column).

PROGRAMS 1 & 2

Program 1 courses are foundational in nature and required for all students.  It is designed to give students a solid foundation for their own personal life and Christian walk.  Program 1 addresses the four areas where Satan tries to keep a believer from being successful in life: faith, health, provision, and character.  Program 1 also includes courses on the ministry of Jesus and a survey of the New Testament.

 

Program 1 courses are:

  • TH-101  Principles of Faith

  • TH-107  Christ-like Character

  • TH-102  Biblical Finances

  • TH-104  Divine Healing

  • TH-103  Ministry of Helps

  • TH-105  Life & Teachings of Christ I

  • TH-106  Life & Teachings of Christ II

  • TH-109  New Testament Survey

  • TH-112  Authority of the Believer

  • MP-100  Ministry Practicum - Freshman

 

 

​Program 2 courses are designed to give students a "jump start" into fulfilling the call of God on their lives.  These courses provide training in such basics as Bible study, prayer, preaching, various giftings, and flowing with the anointing.  Program 2 also includes a survey of the Old Testament as well as a course designed to help students discover their own  purpose in the Kingdom of God.

 

Program 2 courses are:

  • TH-218  Methods of Bible Study

  • TH-202  The Anointing

  • TH-213  Spiritual Gifts

  • TH-217  Ministry Gifts & Church Govenment

  • TH-221  Discovering Your Purpose

  • TH-222  Old Testament Survey I

  • TH-223  Old Testament Survey II

  • TH-203  Principles of Prayer

  • TH-204  Homiletics

  • MP-200  Ministry Practicum - Sophomore

PROGRAMS 3 & 4

Program 3 courses provide in-depth study of important books and doctrines of the Bible, helping students achieve a greater degree of effectiveness in any area of church-related ministry.

 

Program 3 courses are:

  • TH-301  Blood Covenant

  • TH-303  Personal Evangelism

  • TH-305  The Blessing of God

  • TH-308  Galatians

  • TH-309  Ephesians

  • TH-324  Divine Guidance

  • BI-301  Acts of the Apostles

  • BI-311  I & II Corinthians: Part 1

  • BI-312  I & II Corinthians: Part 2

​

Program 4 is the year of specialization as students move into courses designed to prepare them to preach and teach the Word of God and help in areas of specialized service in the local church.  Specialized tracks include majors in Theology, Pastoral Ministry and Christian Education.

  • Complete an LCU Student Applicaton.  Make checks payable to :  Rising River Ministries, Inc.

  • Complete a Ministry Life Experience (MLE) Application (if applicable).

  • Send your application/s and application fee/s to Rising River Ministries.  We will contact you when your documents arrive to discuss your next step.
