Dr. Kathleen D. (Kathie) Eads is the founder  of Rising River Ministries, Inc.  in Avon, Indiana and serves as President and Ministry Exectutive Chair in this 501 (c)(3) prophetic teaching ministry. 

 

IN THE BEGINNING:

 

Dr. Kathie received eternal life through Jesus Christ as a young child of ten.  This began her personal journey with the Lord.  Even as a pre-teen, she had an unquenchable zeal to grow in the knowledge of the Lord and deepen her personal relationship with Him.

 

Dr. Eads has a long history of serving in the local church.  She began teaching Vacaton Bible School as a teen and served progressively in many capacities, including: Worship Leader, teaching in children, youth and adult ministries; and in various Helps Ministry positions.

 

ORDINATION

 

In response to the call of God and recognition of God's call by church leadership, Dr. Kathie was ordained into ministry in 1984.  She served the body of Christ as an Associate Pastor; Home Group Pastor; and spiritual training coordinator.

 

MID-COURSE ADJUSTMENT

 

In the Spring of 1995 on an ordinary morning, the Lord spoke to Dr. Kathie in an extraordinary way, saying: "Arise and be about your Father's business."  This signaled the emerging of a new level of ministry preparation.

 

Responding to God's call to full-time ministry, Dr. Kathie resigned from her nursing career in Janurary 1997 and began pursuing formal ministerial education.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministries in 2001 from Trinity Bible College and Seminary; Master of Arts in Theology in 2005 and Doctor of Ministry in 2009 from Life Christian University.

 

During this time of forward movement, Dr. Eads founded Rising River Ministries, Inc. and received 501(c)(3) recognition as a religious organization in 1999.  You can learn more about Rising River Ministries and its ministry  mandate, here.

 

FOLLOWING THE HIGH CALL OF GOD

 

Dr. Eads continues in her passionate pursuit of the Lord and her dedication to serve the body of Christ through fulfilling the call of God on her life.  She believes in and practices plurality of ministry, seeking opportunities to support and undergird other five-fold ministry leaders and the congregations they serve.  Her desire is to see the Kingdom of God advance in the earth through the maturing of the body of Christ as they grow in the knowledge of the Lord.

 

Known for her Spirit-infused, prophetic teaching style, Dr. Eads trains, equips and inspires believers to live dynamic fruit-producing, Spirit-led lives right here, right now through their intimate relationship with Christ.

FAMILY

 

Dr. Kathie and her husband, Chuck are blessed with three children - Rachel, Stephen and Stephanie.   They have seven grandchildren and numerous spiritual sons and daughters.  God has enlarged and enriched their lives with spiritual sons, daughters and grandchildren by setting the solitary into their family according to His design and purpose.
